Every day, from Monday to Friday, there are interviews for VTC drivers in Madrid, and daily training sessions are held for those who are immediately available. There is generally availability for both morning and afternoon shifts, and the possibility to choose the base where you will start working as a VTC driver. The most common contracts are for 40 hours per week with two fixed and consecutive days off, and one weekend off every five weeks. This is a full-time, permanent contract. For special periods, new shifts as a VTC driver in Madrid become available. There are work contracts from Monday to Thursday, for 32 hours with three fixed days off. There is also the possibility of working only on weekends. This contract is intended for those who want to earn extra income or are balancing work and study. These contracts are also full-time, with 8 hours of work plus one hour of rest, and are permanent.
In all cities, and especially in Madrid, a VTC driver is sought who has knowledge of handling hybrid and electric vehicles and knows how to navigate the city with a high population density. The essential requirements to be a VTC driver in Madrid are to have at least two years of driving experience, a minimum of 6 points on the driving license, and all the necessary documentation to work legally. It is also required to have an intermediate level of Spanish.
